Leptodrene's Claims
First of all, I must say that Leptodrene is a great product offered at a low price. I do, however, have a problem with a few of the claims on the manufacturer’s website.
Leptodrene Claim: “Not an Ordinary Diet Pill... A Weight Loss Breakthrough”
The Truth: While it’s not your average diet pill, Leptodrene is definitely NOT a weight loss breakthrough.
Companies such as Lipovox, Orovo and Leptovox have been selling Super Foods products for years. Lipovox was the first and the knockoffs followed. Being a knockoff is not necessarily a bad thing. It means there is a high demand and room for improvement, whether it is quality or price.
Is Leptodrene a good knock off? First of all, it’s impossible to tell. If you compare the ingredients of the “Big 4,” there is essentially no difference in the ingredients. The only possible differences could be in the quantity and quality of ingredients.
We know the quantity or amount per serving of each company because it’s published on the products’ labels and websites. Leptodrene actually contains more per serving (only 1 capsule) than any of its competitors. So, that’s a plus.
It’s impossible to analyze because we don’t know where these companies get their ingredients. Even if we did know, I can’t really imagine there being a huge difference between green tea extract from company A and green tea extract from company B.
So Leptodrene was not a contributor to the Super Foods “weight loss breakthrough.” They simply sell the same product for half the cost of the nearest competitor, making it affordable for everyone.
Leptodrene Claim: “In scientific studies ingredients in Leptodrene™ have been shown to help reduce body fat...you can’t argue with science.”
The Truth: There are not studies for every single ingredient proving it helps with weight loss. I’ll give them that a lot of the ingredients are proven, but a few of the ingredients are geared towards wrinkle and acne help. One doesn’t even help with weight, acne or wrinkles—it’s just healthy. Leptodrene should clarify this.
I do like the ingredient description on the website. It shows that Leptodrene is not only a weight loss supplement, but also an acne and wrinkle treatment with other numerous benefits.
Other Leptodrene Claims:
There aren’t any. Leptodrene does not make any outrageous promises, which is great. In fact, there aren’t any specific weight loss/acne/wrinkle promises on the website—just testimonials. It’s well known that there is no such thing as a “magic bullet” in the diet industry. If a company makes a promise like “Lose 14 pounds in 7 days,” it’s not true for everyone. The only promise that a diet pill company can really live up to is a money back guarantee.
Leptodrene’s Money Back Guarantee
First of all, only buy products with a money back guarantee. Otherwise, you are taking a HUGE gamble. Many companies offer guarantees but don’t live up to them. Even if they do, most of the time you’ll be hit with 10, 20 or even 30 percent “administration” fee. It’s typically enough for the company to come out of the situation a few bucks richer, even after costs.
